Ronald Cecil Capps, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010. He was born in Tompkinsville, KY on December 21, 1946, the son of Everet Capps and Opal (Thompson) Capps Myers. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War receiving a Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Martha (Alwes) Capps; daughter, Rebecca Capps; son, Ronald A. (Jennifer) Capps; three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Emily, Jessica; mother, Opal; sister, Loretta (Clayton); two brothers, Jimmy (Diane), Cornell (Betty); four half sisters, Jewel (Michael), Jeanne, Joyce, Tina; four half brothers, Harold (Denise), Kinley, and Michael (Lisa), Larry. He was preceded in death by his father, Everet. Visitation Thursday, June 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Christians United Soldiers Memorial Chapel, 5626 Lawton Loop East Dr, Indianapolis.
